we are thankful for...

our houston.

laundry

this is my little helper...

night night

Our night time routine has changed a little lately... It used to be... soothing bath, a warm bottle, fall asleep while eating, bed.

Now... we play in the water.... play with our bottle... and play with our hair... watch some tv. mom puts me down for bed and I cry for 5 minutes... THEN fall asleep.

10 months

where has time gone? seriously! our little munchkin is now 10 MONTHS old!

Matt and I have been busy the past couple of months... hence the lack of blogging! He has been trying to get into the swing of things w. his new job... I have been busy with my side work. AND, We are happy to say, WE ARE MOVING!! not only are we moving -- but its back to the homestead -- CHAPIN! Finally. We have been working on trying to 'get back home' for a while now. (for those of you who think we are 'home'... we do live close to home... but it is nothing like home). We close the first of December, so right now our lives consume of -- PACKING. PACKING. PACKING. I never thought we had this much stuff...

Enough about the move... let me get to the good stuff.

What Houston has been up to in the past couple months:

Our lil' Houstonie - Houst has a grand total of 6 TEETH! Can you believe it!? 6! and he sure likes to show them off too...

The top two are HUGE and the side ones are barely peeping thru... But, they are there! And he uses them to his best ability! Trust me. He eats everything. Everything you are eating, he wants. Put away the baby food cause we now have a BIG BOY living with us. Bust out the Apples, Applesauce, Spaghetti, Chick-fil-a chicken fingers, grapes, grits, Spaghetti-Os, Noodles, French Fries, Bread, Pizza, Peas, Beans, etc. You name it... he wants it. PIG.

Also, Houston's lil' personality is starting to show. He gives me this look A LOT.

* "um, what the heck are you doing mom?" Laugh. He will probably be saying that one for the rest of his life.

One thing he does that makes me laugh so hard, is he likes take one piece of something and throw it behind him... washcloths in the cabinet, tub-a-ware in the kitchen,  newspaper on the ottoman, everything out of my bathroom drawer, etc. He doesn't stop either, until he clears that one particular area. UGH. I will be picking up after him for the REST OF MY LIFE. Sigh. But he is so worth it.

I cannot believe how fast the time has gone. We will soon have his First Christmas... and THEN... he will be ONE! AH. NO. Too fast. Too fast.
