Dont know WHY I do it -- but it never fails -- odd positions. AND Matt keeps making fun of me. This latest position is a lot like the last one... except I have my hand on my hip... sigh. I did sleep good that night. Does that matter? Laugh.

Our lil' Jackson
You dont see much of our Jackson because he is our 'active' cat. He likes to stay outside, runs like a lion, eats rodents and aggravate Mister Zoe as much as possible. However, he does take naps!
I can never capture a photo of him because he is constantly moving! So, I do it in his 'down' time. Such a cutie!

Matt's Bump
Dont be fooled... Matt's bump is not the same as my bump.... its a bump on the head.
Matt was holding a ladder for a guy at work when a light (at a factory) fell out of the ceiling and cut his head open! It took us 4 hours for the doctor to see us (it was the emergency room... ugh). He finally got to us and cleaned up Matt's head. As the doc was cleaning, I was watching -- I thought I loved to see this kind of stuff... Little did I know - sigh - I got dizzy and had to sit down -- but the cut was so long and deep (all the way to the skull) that when the doc peeled up the skin to clean the wound, you could see the end of the hair follicles... YUCK! It was cool, dont get me wrong -- but probably not the best thing for a pregnant women to stare at -- 20 minutes later -- the doc got done stapling and I wasn't dizzy anymore, Matt sat up to leave -- then blood started pouring down the side of his face -- yep, there I go again. Dizzy once more. Except this time I couldnt hear anything Matt and the nurse was talking about... sigh. What a mom I am going to be... hopefully it wont be ME that passes out during my delivery! Matt got his head stapled w. hardly any numbing and I did worse than he did! Once we got all the blood cleaned up, we were set on our way home!
after 4 hours in a nasty emergency room, 6 staples, no shower, a restless nights sleep....
a day later and FINALLY a shower... here we are:

Happy Birthday Drewby!
Today is Drew's Birthday -- for those of you who do not know Drew, he was a close friend of the family who passed away two years ago this year.
Drew and I would always call each other and sing Garth Brooks, This was the last song we sang together two days before he was killed.
"I will sail my vessel
'Til the river runs dry
Like a bird upon the wind
These waters are my sky
I'll never reach my destination
If I never try
So I will sail my vessel
'Til the river runs dry
Too many times we stand aside
And let the waters slip away
'Til what we put off 'til tomorrow
Has now become today
So don't you sit upon the shoreline
And say you're satisfied
Choose to chance the rapids
And dare to dance the tide..."
We love you Drew! Happy Birthday!

Houston had his first shower Sunday! It was given by Deda's (Matt's Mom) family and good friends. Houston got so many things for his arrival! He is so blessed to be loved by so many already! Matt and I could not Thank everyone enough for everything we got! Here are a few snapshots from Sunday afternoon!

*Janie giving the 'toast' before the blessing of the yummy food!
*Josie and Deda -- apparently listening very well to something.
*Kennedy, Logan (Matt's Cousins) and Josie (my niece) helped me with every gift! Well, Lets just say that all I did was read the cards!
*Some of Houston's items!*
The 2 blankets on the left (white and yellow) are what Nana (Matt's grandma) Knitted -- The white fluffy bear is from Ms. E. Weed -- the other white dotted bear is from Bob Bob (my mom) -- the blue dog is from Mrs. Cindy (Edwin's Mom) -- and the Houston blanket on the right is what Bob Bob made (my mom)! So many goodies!
*More of his gifts*
The stripped dog is from Deda (Matt's mom) -- the blankets and sheets are from Aunt Leigh and Shelby (Matt's Aunt and Cousin)

Trick or Treat.
It was one heck of a week and I know this is a little late, BUT better late than never!
The Billingsley's Halloween weekend of 2009 was spent with the Durstine's in Mt. Pleasant!

*Durstine Family Photo -- arent they cute!
*Billingsley Family Photo.
Anna and I dressed the boys as H1N1 - Swine Flu - we made them pigs. They had cute curly tails, but Matt's didn't last long. I think it only stayed on for about an hour or two. Then his headband came off... so technically, he was only a pig for a few hours... While Mike stayed in full costume till he went to bed! Anna was a navy girl - a hot one I must say! And I was a Speed Bump for my Baby Bump - 'Caution: Bump' was on the back of my shirt.
*Group shot!
Everyone had a great time! Nothing like watching football and eating ALL DAY!
As you can see, Mike LOVED being in costume!
And so did Bentley! This is Anna and Mike's dog -- what a cutie!
Here are a few more pics from the weekend!
*Anna's Famous Blue Cheese Burgers! They were DELICIOUS!
Needless to say, It was a great trip! WE cant wait to go back to visit again soon! Maybe next time Houston will be with us!
Stay tuned, I will post our Belly pics soon -- shot by Tomme Hilton Gallery!

My Handy Man
Matt has been quite the handyman around the house lately! Putting up chair rail, crown molding, painting, putting up wainscoting, etc. Here is a sneak peak of him working on a few things... Once all our projects get finished - I will post the final product!
Stay Tuned to see his finished product!
